Meet Leann!

May 25th

Hello, Memory Bound Friends!

At Memory Bound we believe we have the most talented, creative, and fun staff and we thought it would be fun for you all to get to know our little MB family a bit better! So each week we are going to introduce you to one of our staff members! We hope you enjoy!

This week we are featuring the amazingly creative Leann! Leann enjoys lots of different types of paper crafting.  She creates traditional scrapbook pages, beautiful mixed media projects and stunning mini-albums. Here are some of her favorite projects, starting with this adorable scrapbook page:

Here’s a super-cool Midori-style journal made with mixed media techniques. Love it!

Here’s the cover of a beautiful Christmas album made by LeAnn:

And here’s a wonderful cookbook she made for her niece. What a treasure!

I love how LeAnn added the ribbon to match and attached tiny wooden silverware!

Here’s a peek inside this lovely album! I love all the textures she added to this special project.

Here’s more from Leann!

Hello –

I live in Ankeny with my husband, Perry, who I have been married to for 21 years! I have one son, one daughter and 2 grandsons. When we aren’t spending time with family, Perry and I can often be found bike riding the trails in Iowa and we love exloring this great world of ours!

I would have to say that my expertise is card making, but I enjoying “dabbling” in everything. (As we can see from her projects!) The Big Shot and Cameo Silhouette are my go-to tools when crafting. I really don’t have a favorite crafting company due to loving the variety you can get by choosing from different companies. I like to expand my creativity by working outside my comfort zone and trying different products!

When visiting Iowa, I would recommend checking out the Iowa State Fair where you can experience an actual working farm! Where else can you learn about where you food comes from!

My favorite Memory Bound moment was when Dyan Reavely “chastised” me for ruining her pen. (Oops! That is a story I think we would all like to hear!) The best part about working at Memory Bound are my colleagues. They are the most wonderful group of people to work for and with. Everyone is always willing to step up to help and we all are working towards the same goal~Making Memory Bound a happy place!
