Meet Jana!

Jun 1st

Hello, Memory Bound Friends!

At Memory Bound we believe we have the most talented, creative, and fun staff and we thought it would be fun for you all to get to know our little MB family a bit better! So each week we are going to introduce you to one of our staff members! We hope you enjoy!

This week we are featuring Jana! Jana is the daughter of our store manager, Diane, and has worked at Memory Bound for 12 years. Many of us remember Jana from many years ago and have watched her grow up! At this time, we are all very excited for Jana and her husband as they are expecting their first baby this summer!

Here are Jana, her husband Matt, and their sweet dog at a recent family gathering to announce the gender of their baby!

Jana enjoys making mini albums and home decor. Here are some of her favorite projects, including these beautiful pieces which hang in her home!

And now here’s more from Jana!

Hello –

I live in Ankeny with my husband Matt and dog Ellie. We are expecting our first child in July.

My full-time job is a sales rep for a custom apparel company, QB Studios. At Memory Bound, I especially love to do displays and organize the end caps. I also love doing all our our signage. (Jana does a great job with all of these things!)

My favorite crafting tools are the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and the We Are Memory Keepers Big Bite. My favorite crafting company is Simple Stories. I love how every line is unique and has awesome colors. I also love how they all have pocket pages which are perfect for fast scrapbooking.

When visiting Iowa, I would definitely recommend checking out the East Village. There are many neat shops and one-of-a-kind restaurants.

One of my favorite Memory Bound memories is when Dawn and Kellie rented a bus and we drove down to Kansas City to go shopping and visit other scrapbook stores. (Totally agree…that was a great time!) The best part of working at Memory Bound is, of course, the people. Some of the ladies who work at Memory Bound have seen me grow up and are like second moms! 🙂
